Our Story

Ann and Anita Tristan are local artists, and identical twins who have been creating original jewelry designs using antiques, glass, metals, semi-precious stones and beads. They have both been designing and selling their jewelry through various art shows and trunk sales held at a variety of upscale boutique specialty shops, museums and art galleries since 1991. With such a strong passion, focus and lifelong goal of working in the bead industry, Ann and Anita have always wanted to open a boutique committed to providing their customers with a wide selection of beads, thus BBB.

Bonita Bead Boutique, The store name is a nod to the Tristans' cultural origins "Bonita" means "beautiful" in Spanish. BBB provides their customers with the information and inspiration they need to get the most out of their beading hobby. Classes will be offered to all customers that want to expand their beading knowledge and skill while incorporating diverse style and current trends.
